The green morphs slightly as the pile shifts, and it is EXACTLY the shades of guacamole; maybe a bit softer than what it shows on the monitor. It is a bold choice, but looks confident, not tacky; the rug feels soft, and looks expensive. I bought the runner to place in front of a loveseat, as the "area rug" in a small room. I think it would work with a lot of different decors, and the Zen-like organic lines are a relaxing change from all the bold geometrics we are seeing right now in textiles.Good deal for 146.00!The rug is very plush and true to the color seen online. The only drawback is it is made out of wool and it is constantly shedding after a year. Also, notice in photo white stripes are getting gray in front of couch even tho we have been careful with dirty feet or shoes. It won't clean up This rug had increased in price by $300, not with what I paid, don't waste your money!This is a beautiful rug - the colors are interesting and sharp. I highly recommend this rug.
